Former England cricketer, administrator and sports personality, Black Opal’s own Gladstone Small is part of the fabric of our specialist sports travel provision.

An integral part of the England squad during the late 80's and early 90's, Gladstone’s achievements included bowling 5-48 at the MCG in 1986-87 Ashes. Since retirement, his passion for sport has not dwindled. Indeed, over the past 20 years he has travelled the world, following England’s cricketers to exotic destinations alongside travel experts and fans alike.

Gladstone’s knowledge of the game, as well as destinations such as South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia and, of course, the Caribbean, make him the perfect guide on our hosted tours. He can’t wait to share his love of sports and travel with you!
