Black Opal Travel Group are delighted to announce their new Elite Partnership with Kent Cricket Club as part of their commitment to support the sport and local clubs in a time when usual activity has had to come to a halt.
The Luxury Travel Group will be main shirt sponsors for Kent’s County Championship playing shirt for 2021. The 2021 shirt will be recognising those whose membership subscriptions helped the Club participate in the Bob Willis Trophy and Vitality Blast during the recent pandemic-impacted season, by inviting all 2020 Members and Life Members to have their names featured on the Club’s 2021 County Championship playing shirt.
Jamie Smith, Managing Director said “We’re extremely pleased to partner with Kent Cricket as they move forward into the next 150 years of their history. This is an exciting time to be involved with a county making big progress in the annuls of the game, and hopefully, the team can win a trophy in the near future wearing a Black Opal sponsored shirt!”
“We understand the difficulties the club have faced over the last 8 months, so we are glad we can help support them to continue into 2021, for what we are all hoping will be a better year for both of our industries.”
Black Opal who also sponsor The Lord Taverners charity, are planning ahead for their cricket tours in 2021/22 where they will be taking fans to the Netherlands, Australia and the West Indies as part of their celebrity hosted cricket tours.
