On Corfu’s north east coast, this beautiful property takes its name from the stone ruin of the old lookout tower here – it certainly does enjoy a superb look out down to the coast from its serene setting amidst the hillside olive groves.
Built into the sloping hillside, this is a perfect spot to soak up the sun or pick a shaded spot to relax and sleeping up to ten guests, makes it a great choice for a family or group travelling together.
Outside you’ll find a private infinity swimming pool, 14.5 metres in length, looking out to the sea, as well as some lovely terrace to relax. There are loungers and parasols dotted round the pool, a comfortable wicker seating area under a shady pergola, dining area for al fresco meals, plus a full equipped outdoor kitchen and barbeque, to make the most of the balmy evenings. For younger guests, there is table tennis, plus a children’s pool and play area.
Inside there is an open plan living room and dining area, which leads onto the terrace. Steps lead down to a lower ground floor, with an additional seating area, pool table, TV, mini-gym and shower room – perfect for older children who may require some separate space. Two sofas here also convert to beds, so the villa can accommodate 10 guests if required. This lower ground space also has doors opening to a terrace, with steps up to the main pool area.
Four airy bedrooms each have a modern ensuite bathroom, there is a double and twin on the ground floor, also a double and twin on the first level with sea-facing balconies. There is also air-conditioning and wi-fi throughout, for guests’ comfort and convenience.
The closest beach at Glyfa is just 450 m away, with restaurants also close by and the nearest supermarket just 1.3 km. The views along the entire coastline, across to Albania and down to Corfu Town, are simply stunning and can be enjoyed from all the main areas of the house and terraces. The grounds feature paths for exploring and many fruit trees from which you can pick and sample delicious fruit. Quite simply a desirable villa and great location that is sure to fulfil your expectations.
